Setting Up Debit Pin Pad With ResalePay Cardpointe / Propelr and Ingenico Devices
In order to process debit PIN and debit card transactions on ResalePay Propelr / Cardpointe, you must have Ingenico devices.
Clover devices cannot process debit card transactions.
Note: This is not an automatic process that allows selection from the device. A debit card call must be made from the Liberty POS in order to process a debit card transaction.
Setting Up And Testing Debit PIN Transactions
- A Debit Card payment type is always available to be used within the Liberty POS, but we need to make sure that it is set up properly.
Make sure Payment Kind is set to Debit.
This is required so the Liberty POS sends the proper call indicating that you will be processing a Debit Card.- The Active checkmark box needs to be checkmarked.
- The Hide Payment Button checkmark box needs to be Unchecked.
- Click the Save button when finished.
