If you are Using Worldpay with triPOS integration, the following steps will need to be followed when processing a Credit Card or a Debit Card.
Ring up all the items in the Point of Sale.
Select the Payment Type. (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express).
Instruct the customer to insert their card.
The customer will need to select one of the following based on how they want to process the sale.
Credit Card : On the Credit Card machine, the customer will select “X”(Replacing X with the Brand of the Card. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or discover) Debit. This will process the card as a Credit Card.
Example: If the customer is using a Visa Credit card, then the credit card machine will display Visa Debit, and the customer will need to select that option if they want to process as a Credit card.
Debit Card : On the Credit Card machine, the customer will select USA Debit. This will process the card as a Debit Card.
