====== Adding A Reminder Widget ======

  - Click on **Setup** > **Widgets**. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image3.png|image3.png}} \\ The **Maintain Widgets** Dialog Box Opens. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image36.png|image36.png}}
  - Click on **Add** to create a new **widget**. \\ \\ The **Maintain Widget** Dialog Box Opens. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image13.png|image13.png}} \\ The **Maintain Widget** Dialog Box Opens. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image20.png|image20.png}}
  - Enter a **Caption** for the **widget**. This **description** will be shown in the top of the **widget** once is created. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image22.png|image22.png}}
  - **Roles** : Select the rolles to apply to this Widget. For more information on Roles, please see[[https://help.resaleworld.com/lib5help/maintainsecurityroles.html|Maintain Security Roles]] for more information. \\ Select the **Search Button** to access the **Roles**. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image14.png|image14.png}} \\ A list of roles will be displayed. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image18.png|image18.png}} \\ You can move individual Roles to the right or left column by highlighting the role and pressing the single Arrows. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image12.png|image12.png}} \\ You can move all the roles to the right or left columns by pressing the double arrows. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image34.png|image34.png}} \\ Once you have made your selections, press the OK Button at the bottom. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image21.png|image21.png}}
  - From the **Type** drop down, select **Reminder**. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image24.png|image24.png}} \\ Make sure the **Active** box is **marked** to make **widget** visible. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image16.png|image16.png}} \\ **Note:** You can only have one **Widget** of type **Reminder**.
  - Select the **OK Button** to close the details of the Widget. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image37.png|image37.png}}
  - Select the **OK Button** to close the **Widgets** Screen. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image27.png|image27.png}} \\ The **widget** will show on the **Welcome Page** of Liberty. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image28.png|image28.png}} \\ **Note:** Once you add the **widget**, the **widget** won’t display any reminders until you add one.
  - To add a **reminder**, click the **Add Button** in the **widget**. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image2.png|image2.png}} \\ The **Edit Reminder** dialog box opens. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image7.png|image7.png}}
  - From the **Type** drop down, select one of the **Reminders** you created. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image29.png|image29.png}} \\ If you don’t see any options, you can press the **F2 Button** to create a new **Reminder Type**.
    - Alternatively, you can create **Reminder Types** by (you can skip this step if you pressed **F2** and created your **Reminders**):
      - Go to **Setup** > **Maintain** > **Reminder Types.** \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image32.png|image32.png}}
      - The **Maintain Items** dialog box appears. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image9.png|image9.png}}
      - Click on **Add Button**. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image31.png|image31.png}} \\ The **Reminder** Dialogue box will open. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image23.png|image23.png}} \\ Provide a **description** for your new **reminder**, select an **Indicator Color**, and press the **OK Button** when done. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image30.png|image30.png}}
  - (Optional) On the **Account** field, select the **Search Button**. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image15.png|image15.png}} \\ The **Search for Account** dialog box appears. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image5.png|image5.png}} \\ This will allow you to set a **reminder** for a specific **Consignor** or **Retail** **account**.
    - You can **search** for the **account** by any of the columns shown (i.e **Account**, First Name, Last Name, City, etc.). **Type** in the information you want to **search** for and select the **Search Button**. A list of accounts will diplay based on the criteria entered in the **search** field. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image1.png|image1.png}} \\ Searches can be filtered by using the following filters. **Active Accounts**, **Hidden Customers**, or **Customers Only**. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image33.png|image33.png}}
  - Select the **account** you want to use and select the **OK Button**. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image10.png|image10.png}}
  - In the **description** field, add a **description** that best explains what this **reminder** does. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image17.png|image17.png}}
  - On the **Priority** drop down, select **Low**, **Medium**, **High**. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image4.png|image4.png}}
  - On the first **Due Date** drop down, select the desired due **date**. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image25.png|image25.png}}
  - On the second **Due Date** drop down, **Left Click** on the **Hour** **Number** you would like, then **Right Click** on the **Minute** **Number** you would like to select, then choose **AM** or **PM**, and finally click the **Set** **Button** \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image11.png|image11.png}}
  - On the **Notification** drop down you can select what time a notification will show up for the **reminder** \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image19.png|image19.png}} \\ The **Done Check Box** is there to mark this mark this **reminder** as done and no longer needed. Leave this unchecked. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image8.png|image8.png}}
  - Click **OK** **Button** when done. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image6.png|image6.png}}

You should see your **reminder** on the Welcome Screen. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image26.png|image26.png}} \\ If anything other than **None** is selected under the **Notification** drop down a bar at the top of the screen will appear after the time selected until the **Done** checkbox is **marked**. \\ {{widgets:reminderwidget_image35.png|image35.png}}

**Note:** Only the oldest **reminder** with a notification that has not been **marked** **Done** will show up. Once **marked** done the next notification will appear.
