====== Adding A Message Of The Day Widget ======

  - Click on **Setup** > **Widgets**. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem2945.png|NewItem2945.png}} \\ The **Maintain Widgets** dialog box opens. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3062.png|NewItem3062.png}}
  - Click on **Add** to create a new **widget**. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3061.png|NewItem3061.png}} \\ The **Maintain Widget** dialog box opens. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3060.png|NewItem3060.png}}
  - Enter a **Caption** for the **widget**. This **description** will be shown in the top of the **widget** once is created. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3059.png|NewItem3059.png}}
  - Choose all the **Roles** that this **widget** will apply to.
    * **Roles** : Select the rolles to apply to this Widget. For more information on **Roles**, please see Maintain Security **Roles** for more information. \\ Select the **Search** button to access the **Roles**. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3058.png|NewItem3058.png}} \\ A list of roles will be displayed. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3057.png|NewItem3057.png}} \\ You can move individual **Roles** to the right or left column by highlighting the role and pressing the single Arrows. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3056.png|NewItem3056.png}} \\ You can move all the roles to the right or left columns by pressing the double arrows. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3055.png|NewItem3055.png}} \\ Once you have made your selections, press the **OK** button at the bottom. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3054.png|NewItem3054.png}}
  - From the **Type** drop down, select **Message of the Day**. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3053.png|NewItem3053.png}}
  - Make sure the **Active** box is **marked** to make **widget** visible. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3052.png|NewItem3052.png}} \\ Note: You can only have one Widget of type **Message of the Day**. This **widget** cannot be deleted once created. However, you can inactivate the **Message of the Day** **widget** by going to **Setup** > **Widgets** and editing the Widget by removing the checkmark under **Active**.

  - Select the **OK** button to close the **Maintain Widgets** dialog box. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3050.png|NewItem3050.png}}

===== Creating A Message Of The Day =====

  - To create a new message to show on this **widget**, navigate to **Setup** > **Message of the Day**. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3049.png|NewItem3049.png}} \\ The **Message of the Day** List dialog box opens. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3048.png|NewItem3048.png}}
  - Click the **Add** button. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3047.png|NewItem3047.png}} \\ The **Edit Message of the Day** dialog box opens. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3046.png|NewItem3046.png}}
    * **Description** : Provide a **description** for this message. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3045.png|NewItem3045.png}}
    * **Message For** : Select to which users this message will appear to once they login to Liberty. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3044.png|NewItem3044.png}}
    * **Start Date** : Select the date when this message should appear. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3043.png|NewItem3043.png}}
    * **End Date** : Select the date when this message should end and disappear from the **widget**. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3042.png|NewItem3042.png}}
    * **Priority** : Specify a Low, Normal or High priority. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3041.png|NewItem3041.png}}
    * **Bold** button : Use the **Bold** button to make the text appear **Bold** in the **Description** Box. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3040.png|NewItem3040.png}}
    * **Italicize Button** : Select the Italicize button to put the text in Italics in the **Description** Box. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3039.png|NewItem3039.png}}
    * **Underline Button** : Use the Underline button to underline the words typed in the **Description** box. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3038.png|NewItem3038.png}}
    * **Font Type Selector** : Select the font type dropdown and select the font type you wish to put your message in. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3037.png|NewItem3037.png}}
    * **Font Size Selector** : Select the font size selector to choose the font size you wish to use for your message. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3036.png|NewItem3036.png}}
    * **Font Color Selector** : Select the color you wish to apply to the font of your message. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3035.png|NewItem3035.png}}
  - Once you have filled out all the desired settings and entered your message, press the **OK** button at the bottom. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3034.png|NewItem3034.png}}
  - Select the **OK** button to close the Message Of The Day List. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem3033.png|NewItem3033.png}}

You will see the new Message Of The day.
