====== Adding a Widget ======

Follow these steps to adding a Widget.

  - In Liberty select **Setup > Widgets**. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem2945.png|NewItem2945.png}} \\ The Maintain Widgets dialog box will open. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem163.png|NewItem163.png}}
  - Select the **Add** button. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem162.png|NewItem162.png}} \\ The **Maintain Widget** details dialog box will open. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem161.png|NewItem161.png}}
  - Enter in the **Caption** of the Widget. This will appear on the Welcome Screen. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem160.png|NewItem160.png}}
  - Select the **Search** button to access the **Roles**. For more information on **Roles**, please see Maintain Security **Roles** for more information. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem159.png|NewItem159.png}} \\ A list of roles will be displayed. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem158.png|NewItem158.png}} \\ You can move individual **Roles** to the right or left column by highlighting the role and pressing the single Arrows. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem157.png|NewItem157.png}} \\ You can move all the roles to the right or left columns by pressing the double arrows. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem156.png|NewItem156.png}} \\ Once you have made your selections, press the OK button at the bottom. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem155.png|NewItem155.png}}
  - From the Type drop down, select the type of widget you are going to create.   - Leave the Active checkbox checked. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem154.png|NewItem154.png}}
  - Click on **Update Details**. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem153.png|NewItem153.png}} \\ Depending on the type of Widget you are making, a dialog box will open for that type. Please see the details of adding that type of widget.
  - Select the OK button to close the main Widgets Maintenance screen. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem152.png|NewItem152.png}}
