====== Setting Up Product Brands For Use With The Pricing Guide ======

To create a pricing guide for a specific category, we must first go to that category in the category editor and set the **Attribute Kind** to **Brand**.

  - In Liberty select **Setup** **> Categories > Category Editor**. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem2898.png|NewItem2898.png}} \\ The **Category Editor** will open. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem2897.png|NewItem2897.png}}
  - Select the **Category** you wish to apply the brand to. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem2896.png|NewItem2896.png}}
  - Under Attributes, select the **Add** button. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem2895.png|NewItem2895.png}} \\ The **Select Attribute Type** dialogue box will open. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem2894.png|NewItem2894.png}}
  - Select the Brand you want to assign to the category and then select the OK button. If you don’t see the brand you want, you will need to create it.   - Select the **Attribute Kind** dropdown box, and select **Brand**. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem2891.png|NewItem2891.png}}
  - Select the **OK** button when done. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem2890.png|NewItem2890.png}}
  - Select the **OK** button to close the **Maintain Categories** dialogue box. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem2889.png|NewItem2889.png}}
