Displays gross profit totals by each category level along with average days and number of items sold for each category. Choosing to not suppress detail information will show individual sales records.

Run this report to compare how profitable different categories are and to see how quickly certain types of goods are selling.

**Reports > Sales > Profit By Category**

   - Click on **Reports \\ {{:reports:salesinventoryreports:profitbycategory_20260617-184330.png}}**
  - Click on **Sales.  \\ {{:reports:salesinventoryreports:profitbycategory_20260617-184330_2.png}}**
  - Click on **Profit By Category.** \\ {{:reports:salesinventoryreports:profitbycategory_20260617-184330_3.png}}
